BR's Ramen Noodle Coleslaw

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. bag shredded tricolor cabbage slaw

  • ½ cup slivered or chopped plain or dry roasted almonds

  • 3 tablespoons plain or dry roasted sunflower seeds

  • 3 chopped green onions

  • 1 pkg. Chicken Ramen Noodles, broken and uncooked (*see note)

Dressing:

  • 3 tablespoons vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • ½ cup canola oil

  • Seasoning from Ramen Noodles

  • Salt and Pepper to taste
     

Preparation:

  1. This recipe is best made immediately before serving.  Mix the broken Ramen Noodles, almonds and sunflower seeds and set aside.  

  2. Mix the slaw and onions in a large mixing bowl.  

  3. Stir together the ingredients for the dressing.  Pour over the Slaw mixture.  Add Ramen noodle mixture to slaw before serving.

*Note: Place Ramen Noodles into a plastic storage bag and break with your hands.  You want the pieces to be small but not powdery.
